The technical parameters of a forklift are used to indicate its structural characteristics and working performance. The main technical parameters include: rated lifting capacity, load center distance, maximum lifting height, gantry inclination angle, maximum driving speed, minimum turning radius, minimum ground clearance, wheelbase, wheelbase, etc.

1. Rated lifting capacity: The rated lifting capacity of a forklift refers to the maximum weight of goods that can be lifted when the distance between the center of gravity of the goods and the front wall of the fork is not greater than the distance between the load centers, expressed in T (tons). When the center of gravity of the cargo on the forklift exceeds the specified load center distance, the lifting weight should be correspondingly reduced due to the limitations of the forklift's longitudinal stability.

2. Load center distance: Load center distance refers to the horizontal distance T between the center of gravity of a standard cargo placed on a fork and the front wall of the vertical section of the fork, expressed in millimeters. For 1T to 4T forklifts, the prescribed load center distance is 500mm.

3. Maximum lifting height: The maximum lifting height refers to the vertical distance between the upper surface of the horizontal section of the forklift and the horizontal ground where the forklift is located when the forklift is fully loaded and the goods are lifted to the highest position on a flat and solid ground.

4. Gantry inclination angle: The gantry inclination angle refers to the maximum inclination angle of the gantry relative to its vertical position, forward or backward, of an unloaded forklift on a flat and solid ground. The function of the forward tilt angle is to facilitate forking and unloading of goods; The function of the tilt angle is to prevent goods from slipping off the forks when the forklift is running with cargo. A typical forklift has a forward inclination angle of 3 °~6 ° and a backward inclination angle of 10 °~12 °.

5. Maximum lifting speed: The maximum lifting speed of a forklift usually refers to the maximum speed at which goods can be lifted when the forklift is fully loaded, expressed in meters per minute (m/min). Increasing the maximum lifting speed can improve work efficiency, but if the lifting speed is too fast, it is prone to cargo and machinery damage accidents. The maximum lifting speed of domestic forklifts has been increased to 20m/min.

6. Maximum driving speed: Increasing the driving speed has a significant impact on improving the operational efficiency of forklifts. For an internal combustion forklift with a lifting capacity of 1T, its minimum driving speed at full load shall not be less than 17m/min.
